Basecamp Settings

Open Basecamp → Settings to manage the training data and defaults this workspace uses. These are separate from Workspace administration and from your personal Profile preferences.

Connections

Connect Strava to import activities. Once connected, the card shows the athlete, the last sync time, and 2 actions:

  • Sync Now retrieves new and updated activities.
  • Disconnect stops future syncs and leaves data already stored in Minou in place.

For sync timing and the full list of imported fields, see Strava Sync.

Sync Audit

Run Run Audit when activity counts, routes, or metadata look incomplete. Minou compares your stored records against Strava, reports what is missing or questionable, and backfills missing route polylines.

If records are missing, choose Sync Missing. The import runs in batches and reports how many records synced and how many failed. You can cancel a batch in progress; run the audit again afterward to confirm where it left off.

Heart Rate Zones

The HR Zones tab shows your Johnston 4-zone boundaries. Basecamp prefers measured LT1 and LT2 values from a lactate threshold test, then falls back to estimates. You can enter your five-zone watch boundaries here as that fallback.

Adding a lactate threshold test sharpens the boundaries and adds pace targets per zone. See Heart Rate Zones for the full fallback order.

Lactate Threshold Tests

Use the Lactate Threshold tab to add and review LT1 and LT2 test results. A new test updates the heart-rate and pace targets used by later analysis, and recalibrates every remaining session in an already active plan rather than waiting for the next one. See Heart Rate Zones for how the results are read.

Body Composition

Use the Body Composition tab to record dated measurements and see the change over time. Weight follows your Profile unit preference. Body composition is optional; when present, it calibrates the volume ceilings in a generated plan.

Long Run

The Long Run tab sets the guardrails a generated plan works within:

SettingEffectDefault
Maximum long run as weekly volumeCaps one primary long run35%
Combined long-run maximumCaps primary and secondary runs together45%
Maximum build-week increaseLimits growth between build weeks10%
Allow back-to-back long runsPermits a secondary long run for eligible established athletesOn
Secondary long-run ratioCaps the secondary run relative to the primary70%

Back-to-back long runs are considered only for eligible established athletes in moderate or aggressive build and peak scenarios. These are ceilings, not targets — a plan will not use the maximum just because it is available. Regenerate the plan after changing them; see Training Plan — Preferences for the volume presets these ceilings apply to.

Week Schedule

Set a preferred activity type for each day: Rest, Easy/Recovery, Long Run, Tempo/Race Pace, Intervals/Threshold, or Any. You can also nominate preferred rest days and a preferred long-run day.

Separate hard days keeps tempo, interval, and threshold sessions off consecutive days. The generator honors your layout where recovery and plan constraints allow. Save the schedule, then regenerate the plan to apply it. The result is what you see, and can drag, in Week Detail.

Pace Zones

Custom pace zones override the suggested pace range for Johnston Z1–Z4. Enter the fast and slow pace for any zone you want to set; leave a zone empty to keep its automatic value.

Suggested ranges come from your LT tests and recent activity data. Override a zone when the estimate does not match your tested pace or the pace you consistently train at. Changes apply once you save and regenerate the plan, and show up as the pace target on each prescribed session.

Delete Synced Activities

Under Connections → Danger Zone, Delete Activities permanently removes every Strava-synced activity in this workspace, including best efforts, drift tests, route data, and sync history. It does not touch anything on Strava.

This cannot be undone and requires typing delete my activities to confirm. Disconnect Strava first if you do not want a later sync to import the same activities again.
