Profile

Profile holds your account identity and the formats Minou uses for you in every workspace. This page covers each tab.

Training data — lactate threshold tests, body composition, zones — belongs to a workspace, not to you, and lives in Basecamp Settings.

Profile and privacy

The Profile tab manages:

  • Your avatar color, first name, and last name
  • Your public username and profile description
  • The email address used for sign-in and account mail
  • Whether that email appears on your public profile

Your email is hidden unless you switch on Show my email on my public profile. That setting does not change the address you sign in with.

General

The General tab sets your default currency and number format. They apply wherever money appears — financial projections, ingredient costs, budgets.

Training and Activity Units

The Training & Activities tab sets how values are displayed:

PreferenceOptions
DistanceKilometers or miles
Pacemin/km or min/mi
ElevationMeters or feet
WeightKilograms or pounds

Choose Metric or Imperial under Measurement System to set all 4 at once. Change one on its own and Minou treats the combination as custom.

Values are stored in metric and converted for display. Changing a preference applies immediately to existing activities, goals, splits, body composition, and training analysis. It does not migrate or alter the stored data.

Cooking and Recipes

The Cooking & Recipes tab sets whether recipe temperatures show in Celsius or Fahrenheit. It appears when Gatherings is switched on for the workspace you are in.

Save and reset

Save changes persists edits from every tab, not only the one you are looking at. Reset restores the last loaded or saved values, again across every tab.

For Strava, zones, lactate threshold tests, body composition, long-run rules, and schedule defaults, see Basecamp Settings.
