Customize Home
Your home screen is a grid of widgets you choose. This page covers adding and removing them, moving and resizing them, and picking the metrics that sit across the top.
Open the widget drawer
Select Customize Home (the adjustments icon) in the top-right corner of the home screen. A drawer opens from the right listing every available widget, grouped by app.

Add and remove widgets
There are 2 ways to add a widget:
- Select + Add on any widget card in the drawer.
- Drag a widget card from the drawer onto the grid.
To remove one, hover over it on the grid, open the ··· menu in its top-right corner, and choose remove. The widget returns to the drawer and can be added again later.
The drawer lists widgets only from the apps this workspace has switched on. Switch on another app in Workspace Settings and its widgets appear here.
Move and resize widgets
- Reorder — drag a widget to a new position. The others shift to make room, and the layout saves as you go.
- Resize — some widgets support half width and full width. Change the size from the widget's menu.
Metrics
The metrics bar sits above your widgets and shows up to 5 values.
| Action | How |
|---|---|
| Show or hide the bar | Toggle Visible/Hidden in the drawer's Metrics section |
| Add a metric | Select an inactive metric in the list |
| Remove a metric | Select an active metric in the list |
Which metrics are available depends on the apps this workspace has switched on. Total Activities, for example, appears only when Basecamp is on.
